A champ, he truly is...
Today was a successful day for Mr. Joe-sters! Oh yeah, baby! He's been working his way to 'accept' different textures, temperatures, consistencies...for 2 years now! He is such a hard-worker! Looking at what is on his tray, two years ago, would be considered a huge sensory overload and I'm just not talking about the food. There's the wrinkly paper, there's all those colors on the wall, the mere fact that his tray has more than one object on it...Whoa! You would not know that was such a huge challenge for him to overcome...looking at this photo now. Man-Oh-Man, I am such the proud Mama!
Now, Mickey D's wouldn't be the ideal nutritional diet a kiddo should be on but it's definitely eye-candy when it comes to kiddos! D and I said long ago, no expectations -- every successful milestone will be on his watch -- Long ago, we would've never thought he would touch greasy, hash browns from McDonalds. There are more photos where he's dipping his hash browns in ketchup -- Goosebumps!!
Cheers to this little man!
Cheers to everyone on 'Team Joey' who is giving us hope!
Man-Oh-Man!
