In December, our home underwent a remodel. A small remodel that makes such a huge difference in our lifestyle. We equally all love being in the same room sometimes doing things together & sometimes doing completely different things but sometimes it gets a little crowded in our family room. In the first photo, you see that arch above? Well, it never used to be there. It was a wall with a 4' entry way that divided the family room/kitchen from the main foyer/living/dining room. It's gone! Yeah! With some new finishes here & there and new furnishings (still to come) -- we finally have our great room! And what a difference it makes.

Here I am taking it all in. I think we had one more week left of the project. Definitely my favorite room in the house.

He's laying on 2 out of 3 of his pillow pets he received from Santa. And his favorite christmas gift is the Noggin book I made for him.

When our families get together, we like to take out the boardgames... Here, Joey's playing Sequence with his Grandmas.
|
This is Hailey, Joey's best friend. Her cool Mama made that cool blanket for Joey! We all know he just LOVES Moose & Zee... Lauren, you rock!

Since having the remodel completed, we noticed we've been entertaining more & having more friends over for get-togethers.
There's one constant in sharing all the photos... Lots of things happen in our new space. I LOVE that! I love being all in one room. And seriously, I used to mind the added accessories (eh-hem, translation: mess) when all the rooms were sectioned out...Not so much anymore. I love how we can literally live in one big room. And it's really easy pick up before the day's end.
The last photo is from this morning! Love "Pajama Days". Happy Weekend, Everyone!
